Mr. Carr is an experienced, highly knowledgeable and compassionate consumer bankruptcy practitioner with over 35 years of highly diversified legal experience. He holds an MBA (Finance) and is an inductee into Beta Gamma Sigma, the national honor society for outstanding business graduates. Prior to embarking upon the practice of law, he had several years of practical experience in the business world as a financial planning analyst and government contracts officer with the NCR Corporation for which he received the NCR "Outstanding Performer" award; as an insurance adjuster and in regional bank data processing. His diverse legal experience includes consumer bankruptcy; debt settlement; fair debt collection; small business law, including "business divorces"; commercial contracts of all types; real estate, including foreclosure prevention, mortgage modifications, commercial leasing and tax assessment appeals; IT/IP, including the preparation and negotiation of complex international and US banking software licensing, support and enhancement agreements, and computer law. 



 Mr. Carr is a graduate of Ripon College (B.A. degree, Philosophy, Magna Cum Laude, recipient of Ripon's Philosophy Prize and Honors Philosophy Comprehensive Exam); of The Ohio State University - The Max M. Fisher College of Business (M.B.A. degree); of The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law (J.D. degree); and of the Pennsylvania State University-Great Valley Graduate Center, (CERT/MIS, Post MBA Certificate in the Management of Information Systems). 

Mr. Carr is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and has been listed in Who's Who in American Law. He is also a nominee of Lawyers of Excellence and has posted answers to more than 400 consumer legal questions on AVVO.com and has a 9.2 (out of 10) “superb” AVVO ranking. He is licensed to appear before all courts in Pennsylvania, including the Bankruptcy Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania and is also admitted in Ohio where he is currently inactive. He had concentrated his practice in bankruptcy since 2008. He has been a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA) since 2011.

He is married to Tricia A. Carr, RN, BSN who combined have raised 8 children. The Carrs’ are also proud dog parents to 2 gorgeous English Cream Golden Retrievers who are both spoiled rotten!
